Update:

I have made a change that handles cox.net email in a different way. It seems like it now works. I was able to email a user from a form on this website.

----

There are at least 19 people on the HurricaneCity message board that use Cox's email service. Of the two that have registered so far on this site, both have not received email from this site. (I am able to send an email to a Cox email from a CaneTalk email address, but I can't have a script automatically send an email.) I am going to try and build something to handle email differently for this ISP. If that doesn't work I'll try contacting Cox Communications, but that will likely be very challenging.

If you are a Cox email user and you do not receive the email that allows you to verify your email address, let me know. Try checking your spam folder, although I doubt it will be there. Right now I am activating accounts for users who cannot confirm their email with Cox. Until this issue is resolved, members with Cox email accounts will be unable to participate in our site's contact system, which allows a member to contact other members.

I'll let you know what I find out.
