Organizing the Computer

Before things get busy, I'm organizing my computer in a way never done before.
1.) Moving all my data files from the C drive to the D drive. (Well, I just never did that before and thought, why the heck not? It should improve the computer's basic efficiency.)
2.) Splitting "applications" between browsers. Putting Science, History, Politics and Current Events on Firefox -- Finance, Personal, Family, Social, etc, on Explorer.
That way I don't get overwhelmed by so many bookmarks all one one browser!
Okay, so I'm crazy...Anyway, just thought it was food for thought in case anyone else might want to clean up their system.
Other ideas?
