It really "looks" terrible in Galveston right now. I understand where the City is coming from since this is a tourist-driven economy.
I have 2 crews working down there on home repairs and almost all of my customers want trees cut down. I won't cut them down (unless they are a hazard) because I believe a large percentage of these trees will recover. I am sure some of the smaller/weaker trees will die.
I agree with Jim that it will just take more time.
