Possible Severe Weather this Weekend for Great-Lakes & Ontario

GFS is showing a cut-off low firing up over the Great Lakes late this week. It will start as a negative tilted shortwave over IL Friday afternoon. A 996mb surface-low is forecasted to spin up over WI and move east. UL Jet starts as a dog-leg and later forms to a closed vortex. Something to watch this week to see how the models stay on this.     |
