I checked obs all around the BOC:
Winds generally running from the east and pressures not taking a big dive.

That UL-Low pulled away to the west too fast causing 93L to stay over the Yucatan too long.
If it was stationary, 93L would have run the channel.
Next time I'll check UL forecasts better to see how steering features will play out.

Not a lot of instability in the GOM.
700mb temps are above 10C.

Models showing NADA.

I don't see much of a chance here.

Looks like it will be quiet in the Atlantic-Basin for the next couple days.
