Wow, we really do owe him. Not so much for the way it is today but for it being there at all. It has inspired so many young kids who love watching weather to go into the field, it opened up the world of weather to us in a real time 24/7 way... rather than being a little kid having to watch the weather at the 6pm local News.
I didn't know the story behind the story.. I really want to read the book. I do remember the early on air people and a few that left big network positions to go join the new weather network.
Can remember the first few times I watched it. |
