12th-15th.Lots of cloudiness 16th-19th. Showers move in from the west. In addition, there's a hurricane threat for the coast. 20th-23rd. More light showers. 24th-27th. Variably cloudy skies, with more widely scattered showers. 28th-30th. Increasingly cloudy skies.

Southeastern U.S. Weather
September 2009
12th-15th. Lots of cloudiness. Hurricane threat for the Gulf of Mexico north and east. 16th-19th. Clouds linger, with scattered showers. 20th-23rd. Heavy rains over Mississippi are frequent. Hot and oppressively humid conditions for Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. 24th-27th. Heavy showery rains. 28th-30th. Showers end.

South Central U.S. Weather
September 2009
12th-15th. Showers and thunderstorms for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and northern Louisiana, followed by cooler weather. Hurricane threat for Texas, Louisiana coasts. Clear and colder weather for New Mexico. 16th-19th. Clear to partly cloudy and warm for Louisiana. Crisp, chilly over the Southern Rockies and Southern Plains. Showers for Arkansas region. 20th-23rd. Frequent heavy tropical rains over Louisiana. Hot and oppressively humid for Texas east. 24th-27th. Tropical rains and showers continue, heavy at times. 28th-30th. More showery weather, followed by cooler and drier air from the north
