Tampa gets hit directly on so rarely it would be hard to get statistics. If anyone has them would be Jim.

Do they get hit/threatened more in slow years (for the rest of the basin??...slow in numbers??) and seeing how it was an October storm... wouldn't they be more prone to getting hit in a season with strong troughs but low shear in the Carib? This year we have shear..

What would their formula be?
