This has been going back and forth over the past like 12 runs of GFS. It's been interesting watching how GFS wants to produce these storms but just keeps changing how they'll play out from run to run. I think it was the day before yesterday it spawned twin lows back to back that take a similar track, now it seems to be focusing on the one for strong impact on the east coast.
The trough keeps shifting east a bit the past few runs which has been influencing where the low first develops before it rides north along the east coast and strengthening.
I'm about to forecast for the next 48 hrs for school and I'll be damned I have to forecast snow allready. That's just rude. |
