A shear induced MCS usually doesn't shoot that high.
If it is an MCS, with the high-rain rate, it will wash out very quickly.
If it is a TC spinning up, convection will persist.
This looks like a massive hot-tower.
That will push shear out of the way.
The next few hours will tell the story.
