Steering Currents... Past, Present and Future

My question is...not looking at the models but the wv loop or any good loop....
What is really steering Ida?
http://weather.unisys.com/satellite/sat_wv_east_loop-12.html
To her south there is a river of energy that is shunting her north, to her wnw is a developing area of ..storminess for lack of a better term where the old possible area of interest was..
to her east out in the atlantic the wv shows continued digging
then there is the front and pre-frontal trough expected to pull her...
a lot going on... for next day or so she should continue on
then what?
got so many spaghetti style paths for the five day that it makes issuing a five day almost impossible without a crystal ball?
which and what has steered Ida
which will pick her up
where will she go
Is anyone really sure?
Pretty soon the UKMet is going to have her hitting Jim from the NE ;)
Need a wide view and an open mind to really look at this unique storm! |
