Report from SE VA

Getting nasty out...high wind warning...coastal flood threat...flooding worsening with each high tide through Friday and a new moon. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/akq/

The ground is slowly getting saturated before the higher winds arrive. As we all know, cedars and norfolk pines do NOT do well in such events. It is a set up for uprooting these trees. There are already power outages in SE VA. http://www.dom.com/storm-center/dominion-electric-outage-map.jsp

Check this out...only the beginning of the rain...http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=AKQ&product=NTP&overlay=11101111&loop=yes

Looks like the making of a 'prefect' storm!
