| You know I dont even know where to start with this. If he bothered to read the books like "path of destruction" and "Katrina & the death of a great american city" he would know the facts. There were tree roots growing into areas of the levee that were breached. There was also documented facts of soil that was unacceptable to be pounding pilings into. Joe's point is what if a cat 5 hit but we are talking cat 2 to 3 at landfall & even then it failed. The design is horrible and the maintenance is horrible. The reinforcements that were made following Katrina saved the city when Gustav passed by & the video proves it. Why were these reinforcements not in place before Katrina & why were the surveys ignored? Yes I blame not only the Army corps of engineers but also the levee boards as the city should have not flooded for Katrina & they know it. Katrina was not worse case & joe's video seems to only talk worse case as if Katrina was & it was not,the video does not make any sense. |
