Great question.

I am not an expert, so I am guessing here.

But judging from the fact it is a stratovolcano will a well formed and intact cone; explosive eruptions are not common.

From what a read, pyroclastic flows are the norm.

So, in my opinion, this eruption will probably be much smaller with less effect on global temps as compared to the Pinatubo eruption.
