I was expecting this to be a top 3,but can't complain it was an awesome storm
Sat-Sun storm is an all time record for Long Island with 26.3" falling at Long Islands official measuring station in Upton
Here is a list of the top ones for me(by snowfall amounts)
1-1996 blizzard...26"
2-2003 Blizzard....22"
3-1983 Blizzard....20"
4-Blizzard of 78...18"
5-Blizzard of 2006...17.8"
6-Blizzard of 2009...16.6"
7-snowstorm of Jan.20,1978...14-18"(some where in that range)
the 2 for 78 I was living in queens at the time
The superstorm of 93 is not on there because we only got 11 inches heavy wet snow,sleet,ice.But it is a top 5 on my personal favorite storms of alltime
