Plants did poorly, but the full extent of the damage will not be known for awhile. And of course two nights in a row, with no warmth around during the day, is really making it bad. Some plants already look dead. Some trees had leaves changing and falling off, but will not know how the trees are doing for awhile. The tropical plumeria trees I have don't do well in cold. It can just touch freezing and we lose some. We just don't experience a freeze of the duration we saw last night. And now again tonight it is going to happen. It's likely I'll lose most of the several hundred I have. I'll post another post with pictures perhaps later tonight of some of the instant damage, the before and after pictures. Then in a few days time I'll post some more because by then things will be extremely noticeable and dead or very near it. Some of the big trees show signs of the freeze, but you just don't know how bad it was for trees until much later for some of them. Some of the small tropical plants always surprise me, they look dead immediately.
