Re: Large El-Nino Jet hitting CA

I just returned from a meeting in LAX.  Had a side trip to Huntington Beach on Saturday-- large swells showing up at the beach from the coming storm were there already.  Lots of surfers. Wind was frisky and COLD.

This morning-- lots of fog--couldn't see the runways or planes landing.  Temp had dropped causing fog.  And already rain and big gusts of wind this AM.  What is this-- mud on my shoes in LA????  Glad our plane was out this AM--Monday instead of later.  This is ramping up to be a bad series of storms.

They were removing people from their homes in areas threatened by mudslides, and putting up barriers to divert mud around others.

Definitely will put CA in the weather news for the next two weeks.

Nice to be back in Raleigh--where the weather has been great!
