...DAMAGING WINDS POSSIBLE MONDAY...

.A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL SET UP AHEAD OF A STRONG COLD
FRONT ON MONDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN STRONG SOUTHEAST WINDS ACROSS
THE AREA. WINDS ABOVE THE SURFACE WILL BE EXTREMELY STRONG. AS A
WARM FRONT TRACKS NORTH OF LONG ISLAND AHEAD OF THE APPROACHING
COLD FRONT...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR THESE STRONGER WINDS ALOFT
TO MIX DOWN TO THE SURFACE...RESULTING IN POCKETS OF DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS ACROSS THE REGION.

MONDAY AFTERNOON...

A HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY AFTERNOON.

SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 45 MPH WILL
DEVELOP ON MONDAY AS A POTENT FRONTAL SYSTEM IMPACTS THE REGION.
