from what I learned, the hurricanes are a way for the earth to regulate its weather, balance the heat.  The heat leaves the equator to the north, in the form of hurricanes.  Thats why I dont think its such a good idea when scientist talk about a way to get rid of hurricanes, not a good idea honestly, in my opinion that is.
