Thermohaline belt

Hey yall I dont mean to be off topic.  But for some time now I've been thinking of this everytime I see this crazy weather up north and in Europe.  Now I know things like this do happen, and its normal for some things to be unusual.  Also we dont have documented history of these things from millions of years ago, so therefore its hard to say what is really normal and whats not, I mean in the grand sceme of things.  There are the facts and can't be ignored.  Past decade hottest in recorded human history.  Recored snow falls constantly year after year in places that is too unusual!  Tornadoe warning comon almost in L.A. now.  Earthquakes averaging 5 and 6 everyday on the R scale now.  7 to 10 days in a row freezing here in area of Florida, are you kidding me!?!?  Up north permafrost is melting; land coming apart from it, revealing things from thousands and thousands of years ago (plant and animal life).  Now, im not a scientist, but do any of yall start to think that anything is going on with the Thermohaline circulation?  Maybe with all of this ice melting year after year now is finally taking its toll on the Thermohaline belt now gratually.

The day after tomorrow was a cool movie and there is alot of scientific truth to that.  Not saying that its that bad, but maybe things are starting to take shape like that, I mean look around its pretty obvious.  There is proof that the belt is slowing now, but is it enough for any kind of measurable difference as far altering the weather goes?  I dont know enough to state any detailed scientific claims, but as a human living here for a long time, I dont need numbers to verfify what I see thats going on.  Its just a thought yall, I just wished I was more educated at this stuff...hahaha.  Thanks yall...:-)
