Current conditions?

Law, what's happening over there?  Just started sleeting here on Santa Rosa Island about fifteen minutes ago. Late yesterday it appeared we weren't going to get anything but rain, but this morning the weathermen really started hedging, and now a Winter Storm Warning has been extended to at least our immediate north across Santa Rosa Sound (Gulf Breeze); once more the NWS is talking about 1"-3" inland and 1" along the "immediate coast."

Don't know if it's accurate, but a local radio station this morning reported that IF there's a measurable snowfall in mainland Pensacola it would be the first since 1977.  Don't know about island records.
