| I would be willing to bet that the worlds strongest winds,''highest wind gusts'' occour in either the Fairweather mountians,or possibly some of the other costal mountain ranges of southern Alaska.I strongly suspect that the scarcity of observation stations in this region explains why the world record wind speed has not been measured in this region.Any thoughts or information as to this argument ? |
