I hear you. I'm in no hurry either to see winter depart. We usually have a beautiful, but all too short spring here in SW La. By about May 15th temps are usually inching up toward the 90 degree mark and spring is virtually over. So I'd like to see a somewhat prolonged period of Winter-Spring and hope that summer might be delayed for 2-3 weeks. I remember the May 30-31 timeframe in 1984. Had a near total solar eclipse at that time (it was total in the Atlanta area). Fond memories of watching it with my dear mother. It was unually cool at that time,with bright clear blue skies which made for optimum viewing.
