So, I started going to my prof's weather discussions (He wrote the paper on Catarina in '04) and I had him for his every two year course on Global Physical Climatology and so I really missed hearing him talk about the atmosphere and how it all interacts because he's like a human internet when it comes to this stuff. Anyhoo, we were discussing the pacific and the coupled El Nino -AO effects and it became very interesting when they started discussing possibilities for the hurricane season. This map discussion is for like grad students, Phd students and proffessors but it's open to anyone really so I've started going and thus far I'm learning MORE from his MAP discussions than I am in the stupid other classes. LOL

This hurricane season looks to be extremely interesting.

By the by did anyone see the TC feature in southern, eastern, pacific ocean? Everyone was floored when he discussed it. He also said in 30 something years of his proffession he's never once seen a jet that interplays with both N. & S hemispheres in the Pacific. He asked "so one looks at this and says... what the hell is that?" LOL!

Fascinating!!!
