6.3 aftershock (9:19Z Friday morning)

Less than 25 miles from Concepcion, Chile. This is different than the 6.3 Jac posted about. Jac posted about one well to the north that occurred near another 6.3 that occurred soon after the original 8.8. I'm still not sure if those two 6.3's are not aftershocks. I have heard some on the news say they are not aftershocks but separate quakes, but I don't know.

The 6.3 I am posting about is tied for the second most powerful aftershock, though the highest aftershock was further offshore and a little deeper. This is the strongest aftershock since the day of the original quake and the closest aftershock to a major populated area. The other 6.3 aftershock that occurred on the day of the main quake was about 30 miles from Valparaiso.

No tsunami warning issued for this aftershock.
