I'll take a look and see how it behaves over time. I have my browser set so that cookies are always deleted when I close my browser, so I always login every time and don't notice when those logging in errors occur, but I'll use another browser and see if it saves my info properly after a day.

For posting, it should save the info for the time you specify as long as you have not deleted your cookie. But, I might have a bug that accidentally deletes the associated data off the server. When logging in so that it saves your info beyond the current session, I store a cookie on the member's computer that connects with a stored file on the server. If either do not exist, or you change your password, then authentication will fail and you will need to login again. I suppose I could also be accidentally overwriting the cookie somehow. I'll look.

Update 1: I couldn't find anything obvious that would be causing a problem. I did find one minor error that would have kept someone logged in for one hour less than what they asked to be logged in for. I'm staying logged in for a year in Internet Explorer and will see how that goes.

Update 2: I did find a few areas where people edit account information that asked people to enter their password again. There were some instances that would have overridden the login status that they chose earlier. I fixed that and made some other changes to hopefully make things work a bit better. Now the only time a login should be deleted is when someone logs out or their password is changed. I doubt that fixed all the problems, but I'll see over time how it goes.
