Snow in Dallas, Funnel in Honolulu

This is what the first day of spring looked like on the SMU campus in Dallas.

They only had about an inch and a half, but just north and near Plano up to 8 fell.  

This was the latest snow in Dallas since 1937.  

Dallas has had 17.1 of snow this winter, the 2nd snowiest ever.

They have had at least a trace of snow on 10 different days, and measurable snow on 7 of those days





We had a funnel cloud over Honolulu Monday afternoon,

the Advertiser has a picture and says it touched down.

Flood Advisories have been in effect for Maui and the Big Island where up to 4.7 of rain was reported in the windward mountains at Laupahoehoe.  

Hilo, Hawaii has had at least a trace of rain every day this month and measurable rain on 20 of 22 days.  

There are surf advisories up for waves up to 18-24 feet on the north side of Molokai and Maui.
