Yep, they wouldn't be talking about the launch if they didn't have to.
It might be close enough to dark to see it. I'm going to go outside and see if I see it from my house in Tampa. I always forget to try and see the various rocket launches so I'm not sure if it can be seen or not from a long distance. The sun will be setting at 7:52 at Kennedy Space Center, the exact time the 9 minute launch window opens. On my side of the state the sun sets at 7:59. It might just make for a great launch with the sun reflecting on it as it climbs against a mostly dark sky. |
