Pouring down rain here in Tampa again. And a lot more thunder this time around.

I will probably post a lot of pictures eventually of this winter. I have been taking lots of pictures, hundreds, of how stuff used to look, how it then looked, and the progress as it has made a comeback. I notice I don't have a lot of good current shots yet.

Here are a few:

Good to see the lizard population rebounding:

And over half an hour later since I ended typing up this post to this point, we just experienced the most frequent lightning show I have probably ever seen. Not since October 12, 2002, when I actually went outside and took a lot of pictures, have I seen the massive light show. It was not the loudest, never did rattle the windows, but the frequency was incredible. I only had my digital camera which takes bad video, so I doubt it came out well. I missed a lot of the best parts because it only takes 15 second clips. Amazing, did not expect that tonight. If I get some good video, I'll throw it up on YouTube later.

As for the pictures of new growth, I'll continue to take pictures. I plan on eventually having before and after shots of all the progress. It's just hard to show in pictures at the moment because it is not all very visible yet in far away pictures.
