Curious...how do you think tropical systems will affect the oil spill?

Will it spread it further? Or will it help dispurse? Will it drive it into other areas...like TX depending on the stom path?
Will it have any effect if the ocean surface is covered by heavy oil? Will that make any difference on water temps?
'Curious...just getting expert opinions....
One thing I could see if there is a surge etc...it would drive the oil further inland and do even more damage to freshwater areas - maybe even water sources - as well as homes and properties.
Which leads to another sticky issue...will insurance companies cover damage to personal property ...like homes, boats etc.. if they are damaged/ruined by oil covered water? |
