A Mid-Atlantic Wave to Keep an Eye On

The broad wave currently located about 40W has been firing deep convection, has a good low-level vorticity, and anti-cyclone associated with it.

It is below 10N, but GFS has it making a turn NW into the Caribbean when it gets to about 50 to 55W.

Genesis is forecast for Tuesday.

Looks like shear will be low and water hot ahead of it.

So far, GFS is the only one showing a warm-core genesis.
