| Primarily between the Euro and the GFS. Both very well respected, and each with their own partisans here on this board. Very wide discrepancy between these models have the NHC taking a well advised precautionary approach, for the time being putting the official track closer to the earlier model consensus (which broke down last night) with a course into upper Mexico. Another reason might be the growing respect given to the Euro model (which I know Stormlover loves). In this case I tend to side with the GFS, but for right now officialdom casts its lot with the Euro and the earlier model consensus. |
