Alex joins that scary class of hurricanes ...

Andrew, Charley, Humberto ...

These hurricanes ramped up, literally within miles of the coastline, to what one can only estimate as to the true winds.

Andrew was estimated to have possibly had winds of 175 at landfall.

While Alex is not near that, by a longshot, is it possible that upon re-evaluation and after we (UNFORTUNATELY) see the extent of damage, Alex's winds could have caught up to his pressure, which is more akin to a storm of 115-125?

Two words:  truly impressive.
