ALEX HAS MOVED OVER THE RUGGED TERRAIN OF CENTRAL MEXICO AT

SURFACE OBSERVATIONS SUGGEST THAT A WELL-DEFINED CENTER OF

FLOW WELL TO THE EAST ALONG THE SIERRA MADRE ORIENTAL MOUNTAINS.

25 KT...BASED ON THE LATEST OBSERVATION AT ZACATECAS MEXICO.

MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF ALEX WILL CONTINUE TO POSE
A HEAVY RAINFALL THREAT OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
MEXICO...AS WELL AS THE SOUTHERN PLAINS OF THE UNITED STATES...OVER
THE NEXT FEW DAYS.  FOR THE UNITED STATES...PLEASE REFER TO
PRODUCTS ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER AND
