| I'm not a meteorologist , but I do agree with Glanmarc. I think there are two issues working people up this year. One is the Gulf oil spill and possible impacts on it by severe weather, and secondly the increased capability of the weather community to spot, track and predict bad storms. So at the slightest inkling that severe weather is possible, the conversation heats up. No one gives time for anything to really develop before crying wolf. That said, as an outsider in the weather community, but a weather nut, at times I am as likely as anyone else to jump to conclusions. Weather is awesome. Then he giggles and claps his hands. |
