TUTT Window of Opportunity

The current TUTT at 25N 60W may slack off during the week and a new TUTT form further east, as a positive tilt, around 25N 50E by Saturday.

This could reduce shear during the passage of this wave.

The new TUTT may be in a good position to develop a Sub Equatorial Ridge to its SW and an enhanced outflow channel for the wave to spin up.

UL and Surface winds in the Carib will both be moving east to west by the weekend indicating a low-shear environment then.

Stay tuned.
