This is the same wave I was looking at and posting on a couple days ago (14N 80W).

Vorticity has now moved up to the Yucatan.

The GOM TUTT is creating strong shear over it now.

So, the convection you are seeing is shear-induced MCS, not TC based.

It will move into the BOC.

Shear is forecast to be strong there since the TUTT in the GOM will still be in place.

So, chances for development are -10%.
