I don't recall ever seeing anything graphically that permanently saves invests that never did develop.
Some older invests in text format, along with model data, appear here on the NHC's FTP server:
ftp://ftp.tpc.ncep.noaa.gov/atcf/archive/store_invest/
But nothing before 2005 that I see.
From now into the future, I am saving all invests here from 2010 onward:

I will probably add historical data eventually for storms after I get the model error feature that I have been working on for the past month working and then test everything for a few months, but I probably would not add invests unless maybe it lasted awhile or caused a lot of flooding. |
