Its a bit of a stretch at this stage, but I like Stormexpert's thinking on this. The area he picked out (NW Carribean) is currently underneath a stable upper level high. There is some convection trying to build in this area (not a whole lot at this stage), but I look for a big pick up in juice as tropical moisture from the ITCZ surges out of the central Atlantic and is already into the E Carribean. I don't look for any development in the E or Central Carribean---but as this energy gets under that upper level high in the NW Carribean, there could be an opportunity for development.
