There's still evidence of a low pressure system associated with the wave. And even though I expected more from the system by now, I think that in the long run we can look for development (probably as it approaches the Lesser Antilles). Also, the delay in development almost assures that the system will take a more southerly track toward the Carribean. There is some weakness north of the system in the central Atlantic, and if it had organized on an earlier timeframe, it might well have taken a more NW course heading well north of Puerto Rico. But I don't see that now.
