"It is too early to tell exactly if Earl will re-curve like Danielle, and Earl should come closer to the U.S. than Danielle. Given this, Earl should be monitored extremely close, as even though there are some folks who swear the models have done a fantastic job at forecasting the path of Danielle, then why is she almost at 60W, still not heading at 360 degrees? My thought on this model stuff is, If I were a forecast guidance model, and kept calling for an out to seas scenario 4-5 days out, and kept reinforcing that, I too, would eventually get it right."
