I am sorry for leaving out the details. My parents do not live in the home. The home in Myrtle Beach area is a beautifully built family vacation home that is not currently occupied. The well built property has been in the family for over fifty years. At the present time, my parents are in Vegas enjoying their life in the desert (Typical gambling seniors:-)). They are worried about securing the home just in case the storm is the hurricane comes closer then expected. Meanwhile, I got in touch with a neighbor, who will look after the home. Thanks for your honest answers, they are appreciated.
