| They're flying into Fiona more likely than not because PREDICT is about understanding why thunderstorm clusters (invests) develop into TC's. They're not interested in allready fully grown systems (like Earl). Noting this, I'm assuming their going after Fiona simply because it's the closest thing to them right now that they can investigate, at least that's how my professor explained it to me Friday before he left for St. Croix. |
