It's in this folder for now: ftp://ftp.tpc.ncep.noaa.gov/atcf/btk/
The "tcweb" folder is not updating. And that is causing problems all over the place. (NRL, CIMSS, and my site for example) There is 91L in the Atlantic and 95C in the Central Pacific and that is not getting out there to the sites that use the "tcweb" directory. And nothing is updating on current storms. I had to shut down my new model system since it is based around the "tcweb"directory. Using that directory is rather necessary to know when a storm is renumbered rather that using just the "btk" directory. Although, if you compare some coordinates and the time code I guess it would be possible to use just the "btk" directory. (except for knowing when a storm is deactivated officially) It will probably take me days or a lot longer to come close to working around most of the error. The ATCF system has had so many problems this year. |
