What exactly does this mean? Is this thing going to make landfall in the US or not? I don't understand if "ridge" is good or bad. I just enjoy reading your posts and enjoy it even more when I can understand what is being said. LOL!
Seriously though, I'm in the Triad of North Carolina and I vividly remember the mess that Hugo caused this far inland. We now live in a different home where we have TERRIBLE flooding at the back of our property (the last hard rain we had, it rode 2 feet up and flooded our chicken house). A hurricane coming in far enough to cause flooding for us concerns me. |
