Alabama/Mississippi/Florida panhandle

This stretch of coast has been dodging storms since Katrina, with the exception of Ida, last year.  However, as Ida was on her last leg when she made landfall at Dauphin Island, AL, she does count as a landfall, but also a dodged bullet.  She also, historically speaking, extended the possible landfall timeframe for the Alabama coast by 11 days, as previously, no storm had made landfall later than October 31, on the Alabama coastline.
