Small core makes a small moat

This is interesting.

I don't think I have seen such a small moat before between the inner and outer eyewall.

Looks like the EWRC is progressing relatively quickly and could be completed by this afternoon.

Should see a bigger eye then.

So far the eye is crystal clear.

Hope they run rapid scan - looks like there may be some meso-vorticies.
