Marine Synopsis - Scattered showers, easing later. Mainly settled weather until Hurricane Igor brings showers and rain this weekend. Winds increase to strong easterly on Thursday, Tropical Storm to Hurricane Force winds this weekend as Hurricane Igor passes to our west. Seas build to rough towards the weekend, and very rough to high this weekend. Please see Tropical Update Bulletin for latest on Hurricane Igor.

Today -   Winds variable 5 to 10 knots, veering northerly 8 to 12 knots by afternoon...  Isolated showers with mainly fair visibility, easing in the afternoon. Building southeasterly swell... Seas increasing, inside the reef 1 to 2 ft... Outside the reef 3 to 6 ft...  Sunrise: 7:02 am.

Tonight -   Winds north-northeasterly 10 to 15 knots, veering north-northeasterly 12 to 18 knots later...  Isolated showers with mainly fair visibility... Seas increasing, inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 4 to 7 ft...  Sunset: 7:25 pm.

Thursday -   Winds north-northeasterly 15 to 20 knots, gradually veering east-northeasterly 18 to 22 knots...  Southeasterly swells continue to build... Seas increasing, inside the reef 2 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 6 to 9 ft...  Sunrise: 7:03 am; Sunset: 7:24 pm.

Friday -   Winds east-northeasterly 20 to 25 knots, increasing 20 to 30 knots overnight...  Isolated showers, chance of thunder, with fair to poor visibility, becoming scattered overnight. Rough to very rough southeasterly swell... Seas increasing, inside the reef 2 to 4 ft... Outside the reef 10 to 15 ft...  Sunrise: 7:04 am; Sunset: 7:22 pm

Saturday -   Winds east-northeasterly 20 to 30 knots gusts to 40 knots, increasing 30 to 40 knots gusts 50 knots...  Widespread heavy rain and showers, thunder likely, with fair to very poor visibility. Very rough to high swells begin to shift southerly... Seas increasing, inside the reef 3 to 5 ft... Outside the reef 15 to 20 ft...  Sunrise: 7:04 am; Sunset: 7:21 pm.

Sunday -   Winds easterly 35 to 45 knots gusts to 55 knots, increasing 75 to 85 knots gusts 100 knots later...  Widespread heavy rain and showers with thunder, fair to very poor visibility. Very rough to high southerly swells... Seas increasing, inside the reef 3 to 6 ft... Outside the reef 20 to 25 ft...  Sunrise: 7:05 am; Sunset: 7:20 pm.
