One old wind field estimate says tropical force winds hit Veracruz hours ago... while the NHC posts a forecast of 70% tropical force winds in the next 120 hours.

Is it just me or is this not pathetic?

I'll probably get a bunch of hostile posts for being a "wishcaster" now.

Whatever, if there are less hurricanes then I get more sleep.

I don't envy those working at the NHC, it must be tough. How could anyone not get stressed working at the NHC?

Still, someone needs to ask them not to kiss their bosses behinds so much.

I hope the number of Mexicans who die due to Karl is low....
