| If tomas does in fact continue to be blown apart by the increasing sw shear that has been way over 30 to 40 knots it may be downgraded to a tropical depression tonight and then possibly a remnant low by tomorrow nov 1st afternoon. The cyclone will remain in hostile conditions....if and I say if it can hang in there then there is a possibility of re-strengthening back to a cat 1 storm as it approaches haiti. I think the cyclone is going to have a very difficult time the next 48 hrs. I would not even rule out the possibility that tomas does re generate at all and after reviewing many models Tomas becomes a tropical disturbance or tropical depression and then swings over haiti and out to sea.....I do believe the shear will win and that will be great news for Haiti.....lets see |
